Meet Our Team

ALISON THOMPSON MS, OTR/L

From early on in my life I knew that working with children was where my heart truly belonged. have been practicing as an occupational therapist since 2012 and I’ve always had a deep passion for helping kids grow learn and thrive, especially when they’re supported in environments that feel safe and familiar. Over the years I’ve found that the daycare and home settings are often where children make the most meaningful progress. That’s why Little Cactus brings therapy directly to those spaces because I believe that meeting children where they are both physically and developmentally makes all the difference.

In my ongoing commitment to providing the best care possible I’ve completed advanced continuing education with feeding disorders and picky eating, autism, sensory integration and regulation, handwriting and vestibular disorders. These areas of focus have allowed me to offer more specialized, individualized support for the children and families I work with.

My goal is always to build strong, trusting relationships and to create playful, supportive experiences that help kids feel confident in their own abilities. I’m truly honored to be part of each child’s journey and I’m so grateful for the families who welcome me into their lives.

Rebekkah Diamond M.S., CCC-SLP

I’m passionate about supporting kids as they develop their communication skills and find their voice in the world.

In my practice I focus on creating a safe encouraging space where children feel comfortable exploring language at their own pace. Whether we’re working on speech clarity, language skills, or social communication, my goal is to empower children and their families with tools that extend beyond the therapy room.

Being part of these moments of progress and connection is incredibly rewarding, and it’s an honor to work alongside families to help their children thrive.

Romina Macias COTA/L

Helping children grow, explore, and become more independent through therapy is what I love most about this work. I enjoy creating fun, meaningful activities that support each child’s development while also building strong, trusting relationships with the families I serve.

I’m bilingual in English and Spanish, which allows me to connect and communicate more easily with a wide range of families and ensure that everyone feels heard and supported throughout the therapy process.

Every child deserves the chance to thrive, and I’m proud to play a role in helping them get there.

Jesus Contreras COTA/L

I’ve been working as a COTA for the past five years, and from the very beginning I knew that pediatric therapy was where I was meant to be. I truly enjoy working with children and helping them gain confidence, build new skills, and reach their full potential through play-based and functional activities.

Whether we’re working on fine motor skills, sensory regulation, or daily routines, I focus on creating a supportive and engaging environment that meets each child right where they are. I'm fluent in both English and Spanish, which helps me better connect with the families I serve.

It’s incredibly rewarding to see the progress kids make over time, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to support families with their children’s progress.
